About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scientific Research Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our scientists and engineers in their research and development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist scientists and engineers in conducting research and development projects
  • Provide technical support for programming tasks, integration, and testing
  • Develop and implement signal and image collection systems
  • Design and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms
  • Conduct requirements analysis, system architecture, and integrate new signal and image capture and processing technology systems
  • Design, develop, and analyze systems for the extraction of information from sensors
  • Implement signal and image processing with advanced computer architectures
  • Develop software programs, algorithms, dashboards, information tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate, and evaluate datasets
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or higher in physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • Experience with scientific programming in Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
