Job Description
The Sales Floor Operations Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of a Seasonal Store. Key responsibilities include:
- Merchandising and Inventory Control
The Sales Floor Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized sales floor, including setting up and maintaining displays, and controlling inventory levels.
Staffing and TrainingThe Sales Floor Operations Manager assists with hiring, training, and developing sales floor staff to ensure excellent customer service and a positive in-store experience.
Expense Control and ShrinkageThe Sales Floor Operations Manager is responsible for controlling expenses and minimizing shrinkage, ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a seasonal or fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move merchandise as needed
