Radar Repairer Job Description
The Army National Guard is seeking skilled individuals to join their team as Radar Repairers. As a Radar Repairer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of military radar equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting and testing radar systems, installing and repairing components, and preparing and maintaining equipment logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and adjust system components to specific tolerances
- Perform initial, in-process, on-site technical, and quality control inspections
- Install receivers, transmitters, and other components
Required Skills:
- Application of electronic principles and concepts
- Inspection techniques and procedures
- Interest in working with electronic equipment and radar communication
Training and Benefits:
As a Radar Repairer, you will receive comprehensive training in the operation and maintenance of military radar equipment. You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including a monthly paycheck, tuition assistance, and retirement benefits.
Requirements:
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
