Job Description

As a Utilities Equipment Repairer with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing utilities equipment and special-purpose support systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that these systems are functioning properly, which is essential for the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair air conditioner electrical systems, air conditioner vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, fire extinguisher recharging systems, and fire extinguishers/valves
  • Maintain and repair gasoline engine systems, air conditioner electrical systems, and portable heater fuel/electrical systems
  • Inspect and repair electrical equipment, including electric motors, instruments, and gaskets

Requirements

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements

You will learn how to inspect, maintain, and repair utilities equipment and special-purpose support systems.
