Your mission is to amplify our presence in the Bay Area, utilizing that influence to boost audience engagement and revenue. You will be the local champion, addressing challenges, building new connections, and advancing the community.
In this position, you will promote DotheBay to local enterprises and brands seeking an authentic voice to connect with the 21-35 demographic through tailored content, partnerships, experiential marketing, influencer collaborations, and media outreach. You will receive support from the DoStuff team in San Francisco and our dedicated colleagues in various cities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and compile targeted lists across local and regional business sectors.
- Enhance all sales materials as necessary.
- Sell integrated marketing campaigns to local and regional businesses/brands aiming to make a significant impact.
- Collaborate with local enterprises to develop customized programs that align with their business objectives.
- Effectively manage a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Create sales proposals and contracts.
- Establish timelines and brand objectives for sponsorship initiatives.
- Build and nurture client relationships to ensure successful campaign execution and ongoing business development.
- Achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Oversee on-site fulfillment of services.
- Generate comprehensive recap reports.
Qualifications:
- Fundamental experience in sales.
- A minimum of two years of sales experience.
- Strong skills in budgeting and spreadsheet management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Google Apps Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
- Technical proficiency with social media platforms, digital advertising, and ticketing systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entertainment, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of and passion for the Bay Area music and arts culture.
Compensation is based on experience, including a base salary plus commission, with healthcare benefits provided.
