Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary
The Inventory Control Associate will engage in hands-on operations concerning the shipping of GMP materials, receiving, inspection, storage, transferring, and issuing inventory of materials, drug substances, and intermediates, all governed by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Inventory Control Associate will also support the oversight of inventory management and maintenance of samples, along with coordinating shipments of drug products and samples with external contract sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Ship GMP bulk drug substances, intermediates, and quality control samples with IATA/DOT 19 CFR Certification.
- Receipt, inspection, and quarantining of GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids.
- Fulfill material requisitions and deliver GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids to production.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as necessary.
- Program, track, and download temperature monitors as required by operational needs.
- Manage inventory control and maintenance of drug substances, raw materials, disposables, and manufacturing aids.
- Revise and write departmental reports and SOPs as required.
- Coordinate external shipments of drug substances and samples with external contract sites as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
The Inventory Control Associate II position requires adherence to standard practices and procedures, including corporate and departmental SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in GMP materials management.
- Proficient shipping skills.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and writing abilities.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively or independently.
- Excellent customer service capabilities.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
IATA/DOT 49 Certification preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office products and ERP solutions.
