Position: Inventory Control Associate
Location: Bothell, WA
Shift: 7AM-4PM (standard day shift)
Contract Duration: 12 months (potential for extensions and conversion)
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or Shipping and Receiving
- Capability to lift heavy items (50lbs or more)
- Familiarity with operating a forklift (certification not required but must be able to operate)
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in handling Raw Materials
- Experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical environment
- Training in IATA or DOT regulations

Daily Responsibilities:
A Biotechnology organization in the Greater Seattle area is seeking three Materials Associates to enhance their team. The Materials Associate will engage in hands-on tasks related to the shipping of GMP materials, receiving, inspecting, storing, transferring, and issuing inventory of materials and drug substances, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the Materials Associate will support inventory control and the management of samples, as well as coordinate shipments of drug products and samples with external contract facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ship GMP bulk drug substances, intermediates, and quality control samples in compliance with IATA/DOT 19 CFR Certification.
- Receive, inspect, and quarantine GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids.
- Fulfill material requisitions and deliver GMP raw materials and manufacturing aids to production.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliations as necessary.
- Program, monitor, and download temperature logs as required by operational needs.
- Oversee inventory control and maintenance of drug substances, raw materials, disposables, and manufacturing aids.
- Revise and compose departmental reports and SOPs as needed.
- Coordinate external shipments of drug substances and samples with external contract facilities as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- The Inventory Control Associate II role necessitates adherence to standard practices and procedures, including corporate and departmental SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
