Medical Malpractice Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our litigation support team, you will play a critical role in assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support litigation counsel in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
- Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses.
- Draft basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.
- Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on medical malpractice cases.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, with a high level of autonomy and discretion.
