Job Summary

A prestigious law firm, GPAC, is seeking a highly skilled Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and be able to handle assignments from various attorneys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Litigation Counsel: Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation.
  • Manage Discovery Process: Collect, retain, and produce documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses.
  • Draft Legal Documents: Create settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.
  • Assist with Pre-Trial Preparation: Draft trial documents and prepare exhibits.
  • Prioritize Tasks: Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ Years Civil Litigation Experience: Organize large caseloads, manage discovery, and prepare for trial.
  • Office Management: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Possess solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Time Management and Multi-Tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Independence and Supervision: Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Trial Presentation Software: Familiarity with trial presentation software.
