Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA

Job Summary:
The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant.
This role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research.
The neonatal nurse provider works in collaboration with medical, nursing, and support services to provide family-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants
- Education and training of healthcare professionals
- Administrative duties and research initiatives
- Collaboration with medical and nursing teams
Requirements:
- Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA
- Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
- Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA
- Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of Level III or greater NICU experience
