Job Summary

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA is a key member of our healthcare team, providing expert care to newborns and infants. This advanced practice provider will work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support services to deliver family-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families
  • Participate in administrative duties, consulting, and research initiatives
  • Maintain active participation in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or PA
  • Current BLS and PALS certification (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
  • Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA

Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU experience.
