Job Title: Neonatal APP

The Neonatal APP is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. This role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research.

Job Summary:

The Neonatal APP works in collaboration with medical, nursing, and support services to provide family-centered care. This provider maintains active participation in their own continued education and professional development.

Work Location:

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital

Work Hours:

7 24-hour shifts in 4 weeks

Qualifications:
  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA
  • Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
  • Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA

Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU experience
