Position Overview

Join the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Senior Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. This position is situated within a modern facility dedicated to community-oriented mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience to provide high-quality nursing care through the nursing process.
  • Evaluating patient needs and documenting care effectively.
  • Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure adherence to hospital policies and standards of practice.
  • Participating in shift rotations, with options for both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

Work Schedule

We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability:

  • 8-hour shifts: Day, Evening, Night
  • 12-hour shifts: Day/Evening or Evening/Night

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current Virginia nursing license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse.
