About the Role

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources, you will provide critical administrative and logistical support to the Cooperative Extension Section and the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and coordinate conferences, meetings, and events for CES & ECOP, including budget development and vendor collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records within APLU's knowledge management platforms and CRM systems.
  • Support member communications through APLU's email marketing system.
  • Draft emails, documents, and contracts as needed.
  • Update ECOP webpages and post the weekly ECOP Monday Minute blog.
  • Schedule virtual meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the FANR team and APLU.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in administrative support, event planning, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Office365, Microsoft Teams, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Commitment to the work of CES, ECOP, FANR, and APLU.
What We Offer
