Position Overview

The **Facilities Maintenance Associate** plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. This position involves various responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency within the kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the cleanliness of all kitchenware, including dishes, utensils, and equipment, in accordance with company protocols.
  • Safely operate dishwashing machinery, adhering to provided operational guidelines.
  • Ensure the proper use of cleaning agents and rinse solutions during the washing process.
  • Replace any broken or damaged kitchen items promptly.
  • Assist in stocking both food and non-food supplies upon delivery.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying garbage receptacles and handling packaging materials.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment as needed.
  • Engage in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean workspace that aligns with company standards.
  • Foster a safe working atmosphere by promoting accident prevention and proper equipment handling.
  • Interact courteously and professionally with residents, visitors, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old or possess a valid work permit.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Completion of state and federal background checks and drug screenings is required.
