Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager

FSO Skilled Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily quality functions in the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor and oversee performance to ensure tasks are completed during daily needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead the team in troubleshooting nonconformance issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Handle and monitor pest control activities, performing quarterly verification of pest control services.
- Lead monthly GMP walkthroughs, reporting results in the GMP meeting for observation and action planning.
- Interface with inter-departmental functions to identify, propose, document, and follow up on activities requiring plant repairs.
- Oversee all food safety-related conditions and HACCP-related activities, including HACCP meetings, reassessments, and plan reviews.
- Perform trend analysis on food safety and quality-related data, including KPIs, micro performance, and environmental swabs.
- Train new hires and ongoing training for all employees on food safety and quality-related activities.
- Liaise with plant USDA inspectors to coordinate, handle, and respond to regulatory issues, concerns, and opportunities.
- Review records associated with product safety and quality, responsible for product releases.
- Lead customer, supplier, 3rd party, and regulatory audits.
- Drive a good culture at the plant, focusing on food safety and quality.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
Requirements:
- Certified in SQF, PCQI, and HACCP.
- 2-3 years' experience in a managerial and compliance role or Bachelor's degree in science, preferably in Food Science and Technology.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
