Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating and preparing contract proposals from training providers, including public institutions, for-profit vocational schools, and non-profit entities.
- Ensure thorough assessment of training provider proposals in alignment with SBWIB standards.
- Facilitate necessary approvals while adhering to established protocols.
- Conduct evaluations of potential training providers.
- Perform monitoring visits to approved training providers to verify ongoing compliance with SBWIB standards and applicable laws.
- Support the resolution of issues and complaints related to contract execution.
- Draft and negotiate agreements for assigned training providers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of required documentation for all assigned training providers.
- Manage online databases (ETPL and I-TRAIN) for training providers, ensuring accurate and updated information.
- Assist prospective training providers in completing contract proposals through various communication channels.
- Compile and present quarterly activity reports for assigned training providers.
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Department as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in contracts, workforce development, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication, writing, and reading skills.
- Proficiency in administrative processes and various software applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of background checks and reference verifications.
- Adherence to all safety protocols established by the organization.
Work Environment:
- Work in person while adhering to necessary safety measures, including the use of protective equipment as mandated.
- Engage in activities that may require prolonged periods of walking, standing, or sitting, with occasional lifting and bending.
- Travel may be required for training, conferences, and meetings, which could last one or more days.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, nonexempt position (40 hours/week) with a starting wage of $31.19 per hour, based on experience. Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 75% health cost reimbursement for employees, paid sick and vacation time, holidays, and a competitive 401k plan. Eligibility for student loan forgiveness (PSLF) is also available. All full-time employees may participate in the company's health benefits program after completing the introductory employment period.
