We are looking for an Environmental Compliance Analyst to join our team at SST Direct. This role is a direct hire opportunity that comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and a 401k plan.

Compensation:
Salary range is between $95,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and uphold two air quality permits in Nevada (one Class I and one Class II) to guarantee their relevance and accuracy in line with current conditions and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members and regulatory bodies concerning air compliance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to emissions stack testing, continuous emissions monitoring, and inspections, including the management of subcontractors.
  • Develop and execute plans and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Generate and submit necessary internal and external reports.
  • Supervise internal environmental audits to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Maintain records as mandated by regulations.
  • Support the management of additional compliance areas, including hazardous waste and water regulations.
  • Assist in overseeing RCRA Hazardous Waste TSDF permits and NPDES wastewater discharge permits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, environmental sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental management.
  • Solid understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in obtaining and managing environmental permits.
  • Able to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with a computer-based environmental management system.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) facility is preferred.
  • Eligibility to obtain a "Secret" security clearance.
  • Certification in 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training along with an 8-hour refresher course.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
