The company recently closed on a Series C equity funding round and is seeking a Controller to manage its financial and administrative functions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team and oversee accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. The Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, implementing internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Oversee cash flow and treasury management
  • Ensure tax, regulatory, and investor compliance
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in the mortgage industry
  • Prior experience at start-ups or high growth companies
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Ramp, and
  • Proven track record of leading financial operations, implementing internal controls, and driving process improvements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively
