Job Overview

Texas Luxury Outdoors, a luxury design + build company, is seeking a Part-Time Financial Manager to oversee our financial responsibilities with precision and integrity. This role will be responsible for performing key accounting functions for each of the entities under Sandbau Management's ownership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction/project accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and a drive for maintaining the financial health of our organization. This role will play a crucial part in our financial operations, ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), including collections and bill pay.
  2. Perform month-end close procedures and generate accurate and timely financial statements for all entities.
  3. Categorize financial transactions and events in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  4. Oversee payroll management, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  5. Prepare and distribute 1099 forms for independent contractors and W-2 forms for employees.
  6. Generate and analyze cash flow reports, offering insights and solutions to improve company financial performance.
  7. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
  9. Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  10. Perform other related duties as necessary.

Skillset:

  1. Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in the construction industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  4. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  5. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  8. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
