ROLE OVERVIEW

Momentum Worldwide is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Client Strategy and Leadership to join our rapidly expanding commerce team. This role will be pivotal in managing a significant CPG account that encompasses a diverse range of brands and initiatives. You will lead a cross-functional team to ensure timely and on-brief project delivery, driving exceptional results for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the growth and profitability of a premier commerce account, achieving annual revenue and contribution margin goals.
  • Provide expertise in category and channel leadership, guiding internal teams to meet client objectives and brand strategies.
  • Direct and oversee strategy development, property negotiation, and marketing activation execution, ensuring robust ROI methodologies.
  • Act as an integral member of the commerce team, managing client relationships and leading strategic initiatives for assigned accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with client marketing teams and proactively address any conflicts.
  • Develop and manage budgets and staffing plans to effectively support business needs.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary teams in delivering outstanding programs that meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to new business development efforts in collaboration with senior management and external partners.
  • Create and present compelling client and new business presentations.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to expand client business across the agency's core disciplines.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of respect, strategic thinking, and open communication.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in agency Account Management.
  • Significant experience in retail, shopper marketing, and commerce is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills in live event environments.
  • Proven strategic thinking abilities with a focus on the big picture.
  • Passionate and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective across all organizational levels.
  • Strong background in business development and creative strategy.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Outstanding client management capabilities.
