Position Overview:


The Senior Vice President of Artificial Intelligence is tasked with collaborating with organizational and executive leaders to formulate, communicate, and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that enhances both revenue and operational efficiency while effectively managing associated risks.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Information Technology, Operations, and Data Analytics, this role will create a unified AI roadmap, provide strategic guidance, and ensure robust governance frameworks are established.

Key Responsibilities:

What You Will Achieve:

  • Formulate, communicate, and implement an AI strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and operational efficiency while mitigating risks.
  • Analyze the external environment to identify trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish effective change management processes and communication strategies, including training for executives and team members on AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to create a strategic roadmap and investment plan, prioritizing AI use cases across various business functions.
  • Work alongside IT, operations, and data analytics teams to select and deploy AI technologies and capabilities.
  • Supervise the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms, ensuring ongoing evaluation of their performance.
  • Forge partnerships with vendors, academic institutions, research organizations, and industry experts to explore and implement cutting-edge AI solutions.
  • Design and execute strategic initiatives on behalf of the executive leadership team.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy regulations, establishing a responsible AI governance framework.
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track progress towards objectives and compliance with standards.
Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities to drive AI strategy and execution.
  • A value-driven mindset focused on outcomes rather than solely on technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
  • Strategic insight into the evolution of AI technology and its future trajectory.
  • Understanding of AI operational frameworks and implementation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify AI opportunities and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data management principles and best practices in data privacy and security.

Preferred Experience:

  • Over 10 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing impactful AI projects or programs.
  • Previous experience in senior roles within the financial services sector, focusing on data analytics or technology-driven transformation.
