About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Strategist to join our team at Labrador (US). As a key member of our advisory and design services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design process for our clients, ensuring that their corporate communications effectively convey their message to stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead client design engagements, planning project resources, and collaborating with other Labrador project stakeholders to deliver high-quality advisory and design services. You will work closely with our experienced team of attorneys, designers, project managers, thinkers, and web developers to ensure that our clients' needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client meetings and serve as the spokesperson for design practice, demonstrating expertise, judgment, and understanding of client requirements.
  • Animate progressive disclosure strategies for our clients and serve as the primary client interface for advisory and design topics.
  • Apply your understanding of disclosure content and creative flair by collaborating with Analysts, Content Advisors, and Designers to bring strategies to life.
  • Ensure that our advisory and design team is prepared for client presentations, and all advisory and design actions and deliverables are anticipated and completed.
  • Forge strong relationships at senior levels within client organizations.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage client relationships and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of information design principles, page layout, and grid systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
