About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Strategist to join our team at Labrador (US). As a key member of our advisory and design services team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design process for our clients and ensuring that their project goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Lead client meetings, serve as the spokesperson for design practice, and guide clients towards the right advisory and design outcomes.
  • Client Satisfaction: Identify service issues, implement swift resolutions, and conduct account review meetings to ensure successful delivery of work.
  • Revenue Generation: Oversee client design budgets, inform Account Directors of anticipated overages or upsell opportunities, and track time spent on client engagements.
  • People: Oversee effective client knowledge transfer, provide support and guidance to ensure service and quality standards are maintained, and collaborate with other Labrador departments to improve workflows and processes.
  • Enhance and Promote our Intelligence: Understand and advocate for Labrador's methodology for transparent communications, communicate our broader communication offerings to clients, and review US and international disclosures to understand and anticipate trends.
Requirements
  • Hard Skills: Ability to manage client relationships, flexibility and adaptability in responding to client needs and project requirements, proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, knowledge of information design principles, page layout and grid systems, and typography.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrates strong attention to detail, exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills, manages time efficiently to handle multiple projects simultaneously, works effectively within a team, and maintains a positive attitude towards collaboration.
