Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of solar sales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage team performance to key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Oversee inside sales activities, including phone calls, virtual meetings, and lead handling to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies for handling and converting leads, ensuring optimal lead distribution and follow-up.
  • Analyze and manage large sets of sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies, engage with team members, and address challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing and operations, to align sales initiatives with company goals.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to optimize sales efforts and financial planning.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of solar sales experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing sales operations.
  • Strong understanding of inside sales techniques, lead generation, and sales data management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and engage a diverse team.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a passion for developing and empowering sales teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in building and managing virtual and phone-based sales teams.
