Work Schedule: First Shift (Days)

Environmental Conditions: Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gowns, gloves, lab coats, and ear plugs. The role requires standing for the entire shift.

Job Overview: At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Manufacturing Assembler.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products according to established daily and weekly production timelines.
  • Conduct mid-level brazing and assembly of components with both manufactured and purchased parts.
  • Perform soldering and assembly of mechanical and refrigeration components for condensing units and cabinets.
  • Interpret and analyze electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Execute precise brazing and soldering techniques in line with detailed protocols.
  • Adhere to established work processes, procedures, standards, and methods.
  • Utilize various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools for assembling, adjusting, or repairing products.
  • Conduct manufacturing tests and maintain accurate documentation as required.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and uphold daily housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in warehouse operations and other diverse responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and interpret blueprints, schematics, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
