Daily Responsibilities:
- Choose suitable components and accurately assemble them in the correct order by utilizing tools such as drills, rivet guns, and other fastening devices to adhere to specifications.
- Interpret electrical schematics to ensure precise assembly.
- Conduct inspections of parts during sub-assembly and at critical stages to confirm that the unit meets established quality criteria before progressing to the next phase.
- Employ a variety of hand tools, including drills and rivet guns, to perform assembly tasks.
- Utilize the SAP system to input product-related information into the computer system and monitor component serial numbers, production rates, and inventory locations.
- Procure and manage supplies/materials like packaging and warehouse items through both paper and SAP documentation.
- Resolve work-related challenges by leveraging knowledge and experience, seeking assistance when necessary.
- Evaluate assembled units; clean and package the final product for distribution.
Essential Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
- At least one year of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
- Prior experience in multi-component manufacturing assembly is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in reading and distinguishing part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
- The role involves standing, bending, reaching, and handling heavy components, with frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Familiarity with computers and keyboarding is essential.
