Position Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Power Electronics, you will engage with a vibrant team to expedite the development of innovative prototype designs. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creating advanced 3D model packaging and layouts utilizing SOLIDWORKS.
  • Ensuring that designs are compatible with standard manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Maintaining rigorous revision control throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Designing hardware enclosures for high power electronics while addressing various technical requirements.

Collaboration and Coordination

Your role will involve close collaboration with system engineering to accurately capture system requirements. You will also:

  • Develop service plans in conjunction with the service team.
  • Apply Design For Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Assembly (DFA) methodologies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Support team members in meeting project budgets and timelines.
