Job Summary

Astronautics Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, circuit card assembly, and repairs, utilizing assembly process procedures and engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and associated machines.
  • Perform electrical and/or mechanical assembly, assembling small components.
  • Use small electrical hand tools and soldering iron.
  • Hand solder components onto circuit cards.
  • Perform wire harnessing.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Must have fine manual dexterity skills.
  • Able to follow standard written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Able to successfully pass Astronautics solder training program.
  • Able to pass English comprehension test (in order to meet requirements of our FAA Repair Station).
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of soldering experience.
  • IPC-610 solder certified.
  • Avionics experience.
