Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for an Engineering Project Lead. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority overseeing the design of both new and existing products. You will guide multidisciplinary engineering teams focused on the design and production of state-of-the-art avionics products. You will be the primary technical liaison, both internally and with our clients, who include some of the most recognized names in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a diverse engineering team, including electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and certification engineers.
  • Conduct project-level design reviews throughout the development phases, including planning, architecture, implementation, verification, and certification.
  • Propose and oversee the design of new products, enhancements, and technological updates to ensure alignment with market demands and product strategies.
  • Drive the technical team in pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with program management to plan and execute project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor and communicate project progress to management and clients.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in electronics product development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing engineering development projects, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in engineering leadership.
  • Familiarity with formal project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in designing avionics or other safety-critical systems.
  • Background in a safety-critical industry (e.g., Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device).
  • Knowledge of ARP-4754, DO-160, DO-254, or DO-178 standards.
