Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist III to join our team at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, processing data, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Management: Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to assigned activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Processing: Operate a variety of office equipment, including computers and assigned software, to collect and process data in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide typing, filing, duplicating, inventory, record keeping, and other general clerical duties for other school personnel as directed by supervisor.
  • Data Analysis: Input, process, maintain, and evaluate a variety of data and information, assisting in providing information and data for reports.
  • Quality Control: Reviews, audits, and verifies the accuracy of data for completeness and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Security and Integrity: Ensures the integrity and security of data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent, plus 2 years of experience in the entry of online computer information.
  • Skills: Knowledge of current software, East Baton Rouge Pupil Appraisal and Special Education policies and procedures, and proficiency in general use of a computer, email, and other job-specific equipment, software, and/or applications.
