Job Summary

The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University of Virginia seeks a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging team
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the department's research and clinical programs
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to build and grow internal and external collaborations
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new imaging and therapy protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
Requirements
  • MD (or equivalent) with board certification in Nuclear Radiology (ABR) or Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or equivalent
  • Post-graduate professional experience in Nuclear Medicine including PET/CT, nuclear cardiology and Theranostics
  • Proven record of garnering funding to support research, high-impact peer-reviewed publications, and demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical excellence
