MRI Imaging Specialist

As a key member of our MRI team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the highest quality images are produced by performing routine quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas
- Maintaining a safe environment by adhering to proper safety standards
- Operating required equipment necessary to produce scans using established guidelines and MRI protocols
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Assisting in maintaining supply inventory and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment
Requirements:
- Certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Sonography, or Vascular Sonography
- Associate's Degree preferred, but not required
- MRI experience preferred but not required
Licensure and Certification:
- Experienced candidate(s) must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Inexperienced candidate(s) must be registered in X-Ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy by one or more of the following agencies: ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB
Work Environment:
- Standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive)
- Repetitive motion: computer keyboard
