Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Equity Compliance Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our Institutional Equity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve complaints of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff on University policies and procedures related to equity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other University offices to implement supportive measures and accommodations for individuals affected by misconduct.
  • Develop and present educational programs and training materials on equity and compliance topics.
  • Participate in the evaluation and development of University policies and procedures related to equity and compliance.
Requirements
  • JD from an accredited law school required.
  • Seven+ years of experience investigating and resolving sexual misconduct and discrimination/harassment complaints.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations prohibiting sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in a mentorship and/or supervisory role.
