Job Summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a highly experienced Chief Compliance Officer to oversee the development and implementation of our compliance program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program that includes policy and procedure development, education and training, compliance line reporting, auditing, and monitoring.
  • Oversee privacy and compliance risk assessments and ongoing compliance auditing and monitoring activities.
  • Work with legal counsel and management to ensure that our organization has and maintains appropriate privacy and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver privacy and compliance education and training programs for employees, volunteers, and contractors.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business associate agreements and trading partner agreements.
  • Collaborate with Legal Counsel, HIPAA Security Official, and management to investigate and resolve allegations of non-compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of compliance and HIPAA experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience at a mid to large corporation preferred.
  • CHC, CPA, CIA, JD, RHIA, or coding certification preferred.
