Job Title: General Manager

Sur La Table is a leading provider of premium kitchen and tableware products, with a strong focus on culinary expertise and customer experience. As a General Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our stores by inspiring customers, building a high-performing team, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience: Model and direct employees to ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
  • Team Development: Create an environment where employees are informed and capable by directing training activities for all retail and culinary employees.
  • Store Operations: Manage the complete operations of the store, ensuring employees are effective at executing corporate initiatives in a timely, efficient, and resource-wise manner.
  • Performance Management: Maintain an active performance development process, providing coaching in the moment and performance feedback to employees.
  • Sales and Revenue: Analyze and measure retail and culinary business trends, developing and implementing plans to drive topline sales, profitability, and culinary revenue.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible retail management experience, preferably with Sur La Table.
  • Experience driving sales and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven financial management skills and ability to analyze business trends.
  • Food Handler or Food Manager Certification and proficiency in POS systems.
