Key Responsibilities

As a Client Relationship Specialist at BMO Financial Group, you will provide administrative and operational support to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work collaboratively within the assigned team/branch and with business partners to identify gaps, issues, and best practices through monitoring of sales and service performance targets against plans.

Client Acquisition and Retention

You will contribute to the team's business objectives by building and maintaining client relationships through client acquisition from internal referrals and external sources. You will also expand the business growth potential of the team through telemarketing and outbound calls.

Marketing and Sales Support

You will coordinate marketing activities and sales material to support client/prospect conversations. You will provide detailed information about products and services offered and determine appropriate communication/service regarding all aspects of investing.

Client Complaint Resolution and Knowledge Management

You will independently resolve client complaints in a timely and effective manner and escalate as required. You will also keep current with investment services marketplace, products, and service offerings and the legal and regulatory environment for the industry.

Reporting and Analytics

You will analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations. You will gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

Must have obtained The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) License. Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of investment process and procedures and proprietary products and services is required.
