Job Opportunity

Valeo Financial Advisors LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Research Analyst Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in analyzing public fund managers and individual stocks and bonds, supporting research and due diligence on alternative investment managers and private products, and participating in team discussions and contributing to investment decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing public fund managers and individual stocks and bonds
  • Support research and due diligence on alternative investment managers and private products
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to investment decision-making processes
  • Attend team meetings, investment presentations, and training sessions
  • Querying, cleaning, and analyzing advisor and client data
  • Administrative tasks including record entry, database maintenance, and scanning/filing

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Intermediate industry knowledge is preferred along with interest in the pursuing the CFA designation
