Job Summary:

Bridgeway Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Excellence to lead our clinical quality and safety improvement initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce risk, and enhance compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, reduce medical errors, and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with clinical practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all clinical practices, policies, and procedures are compliant with regulatory standards, including Joint Commission, Leapfrog, and CMS requirements.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care and adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including nursing, medicine, and administration, to ensure that quality improvement initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure that clinical staff, patients, and families are informed about quality improvement initiatives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in clinical setting, healthcare administration, or directly related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Certifications: Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate, Professional in Patient Safety Certificate, or Professional in Healthcare Risk Management Certificate within 24 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical Quality Expertise: Proven experience in clinical quality improvement, risk management, and compliance management.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Business Process Improvement: Proven experience in business process improvement, including Lean/Six-Sigma concepts and techniques.
