Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Carbon Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of clinicians, including physicians, PAs, and NPs, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical operations, patient satisfaction, and business growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
- Clinical Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of our clinics, including patient care, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve clinical operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Education and Experience
- Active NP or PA license, board certified or board eligible.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ER, urgent care, or similar setting.
- 1+ year leading others in a healthcare setting.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
