About the Chief Information Security Office (CISO):
The Chief Information Security Office (CISO) comprises highly skilled professionals dedicated to ensuring the security of Citi's clients, revenue, employees, and proprietary information. We manage information security as a comprehensive program with clear mandates and accountability. Our mission is to implement a program that is firmly rooted in modern control and architectural frameworks, fully aligned with the enterprise architecture of the organization, and deeply integrated into various sectors and functions.
Role Summary:
The Information Security Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level role responsible for spearheading initiatives to prevent, monitor, and respond to information and data breaches as well as cyber threats. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the effective execution of Information Security directives and activities in accordance with Citi's data security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for automation and standardization of information security controls for supported teams.
- Address any vulnerabilities or issues identified in applications or infrastructure.
- Examine source code to mitigate recognized weaknesses and vulnerabilities within systems.
- Review and validate automated testing outcomes, prioritizing actions to resolve issues based on overall risk.
- Utilize automated tools to scan and analyze applications, performing manual testing as necessary.
- Minimize risk by investigating the root causes of issues, their impacts, and necessary corrective measures.
- Guide the development and delivery of secure solutions by collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular attention to the firm's reputation and the safeguarding of Citigroup, its clients, and assets, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, while applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and software.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and manage relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow is advantageous.
