Job Title: Clinical Educator II

The Clinical Educator II plays a pivotal role in advancing the educational landscape of Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a leader in education, this individual fosters collaboration between academic and practice settings, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and evaluate education programs to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
  • Develop and deliver in-services, workshops, and training sessions to staff, focusing on evidence-based practice and competency assessment.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in their professional development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate education into practice, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform education programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • MSN degree required.
  • 7 years of clinical experience in nursing, with 3 years of ICU/PCU specific experience.
  • Previous experience in designing, facilitating, and validating education or training experiences.
  • Fully proficient in all areas covered in Basic Integrated Nursing General Orientation, with the ability to instruct independently.
  • Proficient in EMR applications, workflows, and documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Vermont RN and/or Advanced Practice Licensure in Vermont.
  • Unit-specific training certifications, such as CNOR, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, NRP, PCCN, CCRN.
  • Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development and 1 unit-specific certification preferred or obtained within two years of hire.
Compensation:

$58.20 per hour.
