The Clinical Educator plays a pivotal role in advancing the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals at Rutland Regional Medical Center. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating education programs that promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver education programs for nursing staff, focusing on clinical skills, leadership, and professional development.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify education needs and priorities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
Requirements:
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- 5 years of clinical experience in nursing, with 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience.
- Previous educational nursing instructor experience is a plus.
- Current Vermont RN licensure and/or Advanced Practice licensure in Vermont.
- Unit-specific training certifications as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development.
- Experience with education program development and validation.
