Responsibilities:
* Provides educational and clinical services to patients in a clinical setting
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge on disease or disorder-related issues
* Participates in events designed to increase health awareness
* Performs patient care activities for patients of diverse ages in a clinical setting
* Advocates and utilizes the nursing process in the care of all age populations along the health continuum
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred or required as per specialty credentialing requirements
* 2 year clinical experience in chronic disease care in specialty area being sought
* Experience in educating a diverse population on healthcare issues is highly desirable
* Licensed in the State of Vermont
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association
* Appropriate credentialing per specific discipline or to be acquired within 1 year of obtaining the position
Preferred Skills:
* Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
* Ability to effectively communicate and relate information to individuals of varying ages from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
Salary Range: $64,103.23
