The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team in the Document Preparation department. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of tax returns and providing technical support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, analyze, and sort documents received by mail or other sources.
  • Review, analyze, and determine the best method to process tax returns efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Operate high-speed equipment such as mail cutters, sorters, and commercial shredders.
  • Inventory and disburse supplies throughout the building and agency.
  • Move furniture and cabinets when necessary.
Requirements
  • Considerable knowledge of return processing procedures for various tax returns, applications, and forms.
  • Ability to recommend changes to the workflow when appropriate.
  • Ability to gather statistical data and prepare reports for supervisors or work leaders.
  • Hold a valid Indiana Driver's License in good standing.
