Job Title: Program Coordinator - Recovery

HealthFitness is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator - Recovery to join our team. As a Program Coordinator - Recovery, you will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, marketing, and implementing designated recovery and fitness programs and events, maximizing participation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all programming within designated areas, developing, coordinating, managing, implementing, and evaluating recovery and fitness programs to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained and certified.
  • Facilitate the close alignment of programs with the client's business needs, employee culture, and corporate health strategies.
  • Coordinate marketing of programs to maximize outreach and engagement, developing and distributing electronic and print promotional materials to communicate program offerings and special events.
  • Gather program outcomes data and measure results, evaluating and reporting on program effectiveness in meeting objectives and making recommendations for future program enhancements or modifications.
  • Research health and fitness educational topics within specified areas and identify appropriate participant educational materials.
  • Participate in business planning and budgeting process relating to program and service offerings in their area of expertise.
  • Provide individual and group exercise instruction as applicable, educating participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • 1+ years related experience.
  • Current OSHA compliant CPR/AED and First Aid from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, and American Safety & Health Institute (if not current will be required within 30 days of hire).
  • Massage therapy license a plus.
  • HealthFitness approved Group exercise instructor and personal training certifications (if not current will be required within 6 months of hire).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coordinating, and delivering effective programs, including budgeting, marketing, and promotions.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including at minimum Word, Excel, Google programs, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.
  • Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription.
  • Must be able to work 11am-7pm M-F, holidays, and no weekends.

  • Base pay: $17-$19 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
