Job Overview
Pilot Freight Service is on the lookout for a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This role is based at our facility and requires flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist management with daily operational tasks, including:
- Coordinating route assignments and ensuring compliance with contractor uniform standards.
- Monitoring and communicating truck delays to relevant parties.
- Verifying that pre-call protocols are adhered to and that all procedures are followed.
- Auditing billing processes to ensure all documentation is accurately processed and maintained.
- Managing incoming calls effectively.
- Providing timely updates to customers regarding their delivery status using our computer systems.
- Conducting pre-calls to inform customers of their delivery windows.
- Facilitating in-home delivery arrangements, which involves:
- Gathering necessary information from customers.
- Inputting data into our systems accurately.
- Clarifying scheduling policies to customers.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Attendance and punctuality are critical to this role.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer use and effective communication.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
