Position Summary:
As a General Aviation A&P Technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional maintenance and repair services for a variety of aircraft. This role involves conducting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and internal protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including both single-engine and multi-engine piston models.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, encompassing electrical, hydraulic, and avionics components.
- Perform repairs on critical aircraft parts, such as engines, propellers, and landing gear.
- Adhere to FAA regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure aircraft are flight-ready and safe for operation prior to customer release.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow technicians and staff to provide efficient service to our clients.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid A&P Mechanic certificate is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience as a General Aviation A&P Technician.
- Preferred knowledge of aircraft brands such as Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, and Cirrus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in avionics is advantageous.
