Aerospace Segment Marketing Manager

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join 3M's team as an Aerospace Segment Marketing Manager. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth in the defense and space markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business plans and market strategies
Provide ownership of defense, space, and unmanned air vehicle markets, including creating internal and external communities of thought leaders and problem solvers
Lead business plan development, including situation analysis, customer journey mapping, key account selection, lead generation, and portfolio roadmap strategies
Monitor defense, space, and UAV trends, innovations, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities to expand the addressable market for 3M solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Three years of segment marketing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications include a master's degree in engineering or technical marketing, five years of program acquisition or management experience, and skills in design thinking solutions development, value selling, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning/execution
Work Environment:
This role is hybrid eligible, allowing for some remote work but requiring travel to St. Paul or customer locations at least two days per week. May include up to 20% domestic travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
