Job Description

PART-TIME SECURITY STAFF REQUIRED FOR UPCOMING EVENTS

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Allied Universal Event Services is actively seeking qualified individuals for the role of Event Security. This position entails responsibilities such as inspecting bags, enforcing entry regulations, and implementing safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff, all while delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential for fulfilling the requirements of this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of event day operations.
  • Facilitate appropriate access to venues, which may include ticket collection and verification of wristbands and badges, as well as directing traffic.
  • Conduct guest screenings upon entry through bag checks, metal detection, and identification verification.
  • Safeguard guests, personnel, and venue assets by monitoring for security violations at critical points.
  • Respond promptly to crowd management situations and provide assistance to guests when necessary.
  • Understand and adhere to the policies and regulations of various venues and events.
  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests as they arrive at the venue.
  • Offer guests helpful information and recommendations to enhance their overall experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.
  • Successful completion of a background check and a drug/alcohol screening is required as a condition of employment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
